Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of all competitions and prize draws on this website is LITTLEWINZCLUB LTD, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 17319128.

Our registered office is Pickwicks Folly, Thorpe Lane, Trimley St Martin, Suffolk, IP11 0RZ.

References to “LittleWinzClub”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LITTLEWINZCLUB LTD trading as LittleWinzClub. References to “you”, “entrant” and “player” mean any person entering or attempting to enter a competition or prize draw.

Each competition page will set out the key details for that competition, including the prize, paid online entry price, maximum number of paid online entries or tickets, any maximum entries per person, opening date, closing date, draw date, entry question where applicable, prize-specific conditions, delivery information and how to enter for free by post. Those competition-specific details form part of these Terms.

Any advertising, social media post, email, competition page or checkout page that refers to a competition should include or clearly signpost the significant conditions that entrants need to know before entering, including eligibility, closing date, prize details, entry limits and the free postal entry route.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the details on a competition page, the competition page will apply only to the extent that it provides specific details for that competition. Nothing on a competition page will reduce your statutory rights, remove the free postal entry route, or make the free postal entry route less favourable than paid online entry.

2. Eligibility

Competitions are open to entrants aged 18 years or over only.

Unless stated otherwise on the relevant competition page, competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom only.

By entering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are resident in the United Kingdom, and are legally able to enter. We may use reasonable age-verification and identity-verification checks before accepting an entry, allowing continued participation, or awarding a prize.

Employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, professional advisers or anyone professionally connected with LittleWinzClub or the administration of a competition may not enter. Immediate family members or members of the same household of those persons may also be excluded where their entry could affect the fairness or independence of a competition.

We may ask entrants and winners to provide proof of identity, age, address and eligibility. This may include photo identification, proof of address or other reasonable verification. If a winner cannot provide suitable proof when reasonably requested, we may disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner.

We reserve the right to refuse, remove or disqualify any entry where we reasonably believe the entrant has breached these Terms, provided false information, attempted to manipulate the entry process, used automated entry methods, acted fraudulently or unfairly, or is not eligible to enter.

3. Nature of the competitions

LittleWinzClub operates lifestyle-focused prize draws and competitions with a paid online entry route and a free postal entry route. These competitions are intended to operate as lawful free draws and prize competitions, not lotteries, because a genuine free postal entry route is available alongside the paid online entry route.

Our competitions are intended to be structured in accordance with applicable UK law, including the principles of the Gambling Act 2005 where relevant. Every eligible competition includes a genuine free postal entry route and is administered in accordance with these Terms.

No purchase is necessary to enter. Every eligible competition includes a free postal entry route. The free postal entry route must be clearly and prominently explained on the relevant competition page before purchase or entry.

The winner of each competition is selected by chance from all valid entries. A competition may include a simple entry question. Where a question is used, you must answer it correctly for your entry to be valid.

The entry question is used as a condition of entry. LittleWinzClub does not rely solely on the entry question as the legal basis for operating the competition. Each eligible competition also includes a genuine free postal entry route.

Each valid entry, whether submitted through the paid online route or the free postal route, has an equal chance of winning the relevant prize, subject to these Terms and any entry limits stated on the competition page.

By entering, you confirm that you understand there is no guarantee of winning and that most entrants will not win.

4. Free postal entry route

No purchase is necessary to enter. Every eligible competition includes a free postal entry route.

Free postal entries have the same chance of winning as paid online entries. Free postal entries are entered into the same draw as paid online entries and are treated equally, provided they are valid and received before the stated closing deadline.

The free postal entry route is available using ordinary first-class or second-class post. We will not require free postal entrants to use recorded delivery, special delivery, courier delivery or any premium postal service.

The free postal entry route must be displayed clearly and prominently wherever the paid entry route is promoted on the competition page. It should not be hidden only in these Terms or in small print.

To enter for free by post, send your entry on a postcard or in a sealed envelope to:

LITTLEWINZCLUB LTD
Pickwicks Folly
Thorpe Lane
Trimley St Martin
Suffolk
IP11 0RZ

Your free postal entry must include the following information clearly written:

  • Your full name
  • Your full postal address
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your date of birth
  • The name of the competition you wish to enter
  • Your answer to the competition question, where a question applies

Only one free postal entry is permitted per postcard or envelope. Each valid free postal entry will be treated as one entry into the relevant draw.

Multiple free postal entries are allowed only where multiple paid entries are allowed for the same competition. Free postal entries are subject to the same maximum entry limits per person or household as paid online entries, but must not be subject to a lower or more restrictive limit than paid online entries.

Bulk entries, multiple entries in one envelope, incomplete entries, illegible entries, entries sent to any other address, entries that do not include the required information, or entries received after the stated closing deadline may be rejected.

Free postal entries must be sent by ordinary first-class or second-class post only. You are not required to use recorded delivery, special delivery, courier delivery or any premium postal service. Entries sent using premium postal services may be rejected where accepting them would undermine the free entry route.

The free postal entry route is free to use, but you are responsible for the normal cost of ordinary postage. Normal first-class or second-class postage is not treated by us as a payment to enter.

You do not need to create a paid order, open a paid account or make any purchase to submit a free postal entry. However, you must provide accurate contact details so we can contact you if you win and verify your eligibility.

Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. We are not responsible for postal entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or not received for any reason outside our reasonable control.

Free postal entries received before the stated closing deadline will be processed and allocated a ticket number or entry reference before the draw takes place. Where a competition page states a maximum number of paid online tickets, valid free postal entries may be added to the draw in addition to those paid online tickets.

We will ensure that each competition remains open for a period that gives entrants a genuine opportunity to use the free postal entry route and for valid postal entries to be received before the draw.

5. Paid online entries

To enter online, choose the competition you want to enter, select the number of entries or tickets you wish to purchase, answer the entry question where required, and complete checkout.

The ticket price, maximum number of paid online entries or tickets, any maximum entry limit per person or household, the closing date and the draw date will be shown on the relevant competition page.

Once your payment has been accepted, your order has been confirmed, and your entry is valid, your ticket number or numbers will be allocated and entered into the relevant draw.

You are responsible for ensuring that your personal details, email address, telephone number, billing details and delivery information are accurate at the time of entry and kept up to date.

Paid online entries are not given any advantage over free postal entries.

Paid online entry is optional. You may choose to enter for free by post instead, as explained in section 4 above and on the relevant competition page.

6. Entry questions and valid entries

Some competitions may include an entry question. Where a question is required, your answer must be correct for your entry to be valid.

If you answer the entry question incorrectly, your entry may not be included in the draw and you will not be eligible to win that competition.

The website may prevent an entry from being submitted where the answer is incorrect. If an incorrect answer is accepted due to error, the entry may later be treated as invalid.

Entry questions should not be described as the only reason the competition is lawful. LittleWinzClub relies on the free postal entry route for competitions where winners are selected by chance.

We reserve the right to reject entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, automated, duplicated, submitted after the closing deadline, exceed the entry limit, or are otherwise not made in accordance with these Terms.

We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, undelivered or not received due to technical issues, postal delays, network failures, payment issues, incorrect details or any other reason outside our reasonable control.

7. Ticket numbers

Ticket numbers or entry references are allocated after a valid paid online entry has been completed or after a valid free postal entry has been processed.

Paid online entrants will usually receive their ticket numbers by email and/or through their account area.

Valid free postal entries will be allocated ticket numbers or entry references and entered into the same draw as paid online entries. We may not send ticket confirmations for postal entries unless you win or unless we choose to do so.

Ticket numbers and entry references are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Each valid ticket number or entry reference represents one entry into the relevant draw.

Where necessary to include valid free postal entries received before the closing deadline, we may allocate additional entry references outside the advertised range of paid online ticket numbers. Any such postal entries will have the same chance of winning as paid online entries.

8. Opening dates, closing dates and draw dates

Each competition page will state the opening date, closing date and draw date for that competition.

Unless exceptional circumstances apply, each draw will take place on the advertised draw date.

If a competition does not sell out before the advertised closing date, the draw will still go ahead on the advertised draw date. We will not cancel a draw, reduce the prize value, offer a lower-value alternative prize, or change the draw date because of low ticket sales.

If paid online entries sell out before the advertised closing date, paid online entries may close early. However, the free postal entry route will remain available until the stated closing deadline, and valid free postal entries received before that deadline will still be included in the draw.

Where a maximum number of paid online tickets is stated, the final number of valid entries in the draw may be higher if valid free postal entries are received before the stated closing deadline. Competition pages should make clear whether a stated maximum refers to paid online tickets only or to all valid entries.

Any information about odds or likelihood of winning is indicative only unless expressly stated otherwise, because the final odds depend on the total number of valid paid online entries and valid free postal entries included in the draw.

We will ensure that the free postal entry route remains available for a reasonable period so that entrants have a genuine opportunity to use it.

We may only amend, suspend, delay or cancel a competition where necessary due to exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failure, legal or regulatory issues, suspected fraud, security issues, supplier failure, website failure, payment failure, postal disruption, or another issue affecting the fair running of the competition.

If a competition is amended, suspended, delayed or cancelled for exceptional reasons, we will act fairly and transparently and will update the website as soon as reasonably possible. We will not make changes that unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered.

9. Winner selection

All valid paid online entries and valid free postal entries received before the stated closing deadline will be entered into the same draw.

Paid online entries and free postal entries have an equal chance of winning.

The winner will be selected at random using a computer-generated random selection process that produces verifiably random and auditable results.

The draw result will be recorded, and we will retain reasonable evidence of the draw process, including the competition name, draw date, total valid entries, winning ticket number or entry reference, and winner details.

We will retain reasonable records relating to competition administration, winner selection and prize fulfilment for audit, accounting, regulatory, legal and dispute-resolution purposes.

Where a verifiably random computer process is not used, the draw will be carried out by, or under the supervision of, a demonstrably independent person.

The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided at entry.

If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to provide required verification, does not claim the prize within the required time, or is found to have breached these Terms, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner using the same random selection process.

Our decision on winner selection is final, but this does not prevent you from raising a complaint or exercising any legal rights you may have.

10. Winner contact and prize claim

If you win, we will contact you using the details provided on your account or entry.

We aim to contact winners as soon as possible after the draw. In all cases, we will contact the winner within a maximum of 7 days of the draw taking place.

Winners may be contacted by email, telephone, text message or another reasonable method using the details provided at the time of entry. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner and will not rely on a single contact attempt where further reasonable contact methods are available.

Winners must respond within 14 days of our first winner notification unless a different claim period is stated on the relevant competition page. Any shorter claim period will be treated as a significant condition and should be stated clearly before entry.

Winners must provide any information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange prize fulfilment.

Before a prize is awarded, we may require additional verification of identity, age, address, payment details, account details or eligibility where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the competition, prevent fraud, comply with our legal obligations, or ensure the prize is awarded to a valid winner.

If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, does not respond within the required period, is found to be ineligible, fails to provide the information required to fulfil the prize, or has breached these Terms, we may select an alternative winner from the valid entries.

Please make sure your contact details are accurate and kept up to date. We are not responsible if you miss a winner notification because the details you provided were incorrect, incomplete, blocked, filtered, inaccessible or out of date.

11. Prizes

The prize for each competition will be described on the relevant competition page.

Prize images, descriptions, lifestyle imagery, brand references, colours, packaging, specifications, accessories and examples are for guidance only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Brand names, product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless stated otherwise, competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with the brand owner, manufacturer or supplier of the prize.

Unless stated otherwise on the competition page, no cash alternative is offered and prizes are non-transferable.

If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our reasonable control, we may substitute it with an alternative prize of equal or greater value, or a reasonable cash alternative where appropriate.

We will not substitute a prize with a lower-value prize because of low ticket sales.

If the prize is a voucher, gift card, experience, subscription, service or digital product, it may be subject to the supplier’s own terms, expiry dates, availability, redemption rules and restrictions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, any additional costs associated with accepting or using a prize are the winner’s responsibility. This may include travel, insurance, accessories, subscriptions, installation, spending money, upgrades, optional extras or any other costs not expressly included in the prize description.

We are not responsible for any third-party supplier terms, delays, cancellations, restrictions or changes once the prize has been issued, except where required by law.

Prizes will be awarded in accordance with these Terms and the competition page. We will not withhold a prize from a valid winner except where permitted by these Terms or required by law.

12. Prize delivery and fulfilment

For physical prizes, we will contact the winner to confirm the correct delivery details and arrange delivery.

For digital prizes, vouchers or gift cards, we will arrange the purchase and send the prize to the winner by email or another suitable digital method.

Some prizes may require additional information from the winner before they can be fulfilled, such as a preferred size, colour, delivery address, retailer, email address for a gift card, or other reasonable details.

We will aim to deliver or make prizes available within 30 days of winner verification, unless a different timescale is clearly stated on the competition page or a delay occurs for reasons outside our reasonable control.

Delivery times may vary depending on the prize, supplier availability, stock levels, courier services and the winner’s location.

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by inaccurate details provided by the winner, missed delivery attempts, courier delays, supplier delays, postal disruption or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Risk in a physical prize passes to the winner once the prize has been delivered to the delivery address confirmed by the winner, unless the law provides otherwise.

13. Refunds and cancellations

Once a paid entry has been submitted, ticket numbers have been allocated and the entry has been entered into the draw, refunds will not normally be available except where required by law or unless we cancel the competition.

If we cancel a competition before the draw has taken place for exceptional reasons outside our reasonable control, we will provide a fair resolution for paid entrants. This may include a refund to the original payment method or another legally permitted remedy.

Free postal entrants will not be charged by us to enter, and we will not be responsible for reimbursing normal postage costs.

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, amend or withdraw a competition only where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, technical issues, legal or regulatory concerns, fraud, error, supplier issues, security issues, or any other issue that affects the fair running of the competition.

We will not cancel a competition simply because paid ticket sales are lower than expected.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have.

14. Payments and spending limits

Paid entries must be paid for using the payment methods made available at checkout.

We may refuse or refund a payment where we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, unauthorised, in breach of these Terms, or connected with prohibited behaviour.

LittleWinzClub may set maximum entry limits, maximum order values, maximum monthly spend limits, or other responsible play limits.

We may restrict or reject entries that exceed any limit shown on the website or otherwise notified to entrants.

Where credit card payments are accepted, we will not knowingly accept credit card payments in excess of £250 per calendar month per player. We may apply stricter limits or restrict credit card payments entirely.

We will not knowingly accept credit card payments for any instant-win prize draw, where applicable.

You can contact us at any time to request a monthly spending limit, a temporary account suspension, permanent account closure, or removal from marketing communications.

If you request a temporary account suspension, we will action it within a reasonable time. Unless we offer and you choose a shorter pause option, a temporary suspension will last for a minimum of 6 months. During the suspension period, you will not be permitted to enter competitions and we will not knowingly send you marketing communications.

You may also request a permanent account closure. Where we close your account, you will not be permitted to enter further competitions using that account, but existing valid entries submitted before closure will remain valid unless these Terms allow them to be removed or disqualified.

15. Website errors and technical issues

We take reasonable care to ensure that competition details, prices, ticket numbers, draw dates and prize information are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.

If we discover an obvious error, technical issue, pricing error, ticket allocation issue, payment issue, incorrect prize information, duplicate ticket allocation or other administrative error, we reserve the right to correct the issue and take reasonable steps to ensure the competition is administered fairly.

We are not responsible for any failure of the website, payment system, email system, internet connection, device, browser, postal service, courier service or third-party platform that prevents or delays an entry, confirmation, notification or prize fulfilment, except where caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.

If a technical or administrative issue affects the fairness or integrity of a competition, we may suspend the competition while we investigate and take reasonable action to protect entrants and ensure the draw is administered fairly.

If an error materially affects a competition, we will act fairly and transparently and will not use an error correction to unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered.

16. Fair use and prohibited behaviour

You must not attempt to manipulate, interfere with, abuse or undermine the entry process, website, payment system, ticket allocation process, draw process or any competition.

Automated entries, bulk entries, entries made using bots, scripts, multiple accounts, false identities, stolen payment details, chargeback abuse, or any other unfair method are prohibited.

You must not attempt to exceed entry limits, bypass spending limits, impersonate another person, interfere with the website, or submit false or misleading information.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts, reject entries, withhold prizes, request further information, cancel orders, refund payments, or disqualify entrants where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, misuse, breach of these Terms, or any activity that may compromise the fair operation of a competition.

Where we take action under this section, we will act proportionately and will retain reasonable evidence of the reason for our decision.

17. Fraud prevention and financial crime

We are committed to protecting the integrity of our competitions, our customers and our payment systems.

We may carry out identity verification, age verification, payment verification, fraud prevention checks, sanctions screening and other reasonable enquiries before accepting entries, processing payments, allowing continued participation or awarding prizes.

We reserve the right to refuse entries, suspend accounts, withhold prizes pending investigation, cancel transactions, refund payments or disqualify entrants where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, identity theft, payment abuse, sanctions breaches, chargeback abuse, use of stolen payment details, multiple-account abuse or other criminal, unlawful or unfair activity.

We may share relevant information with payment providers, fraud prevention agencies, professional advisers, law enforcement authorities, regulators or other competent bodies where required by law or where reasonably necessary to prevent, detect or investigate fraud, financial crime, misuse of the website, breach of these Terms or unlawful activity.

Where we take action under this section, we will act proportionately, keep reasonable records of our decision and comply with applicable data protection law.

18. Publicity and winner announcements

We may publish or make available information showing that a valid award took place.

We may publish draw records or winner information sufficient to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place, while respecting our obligations under UK data protection legislation.

This may include the winner’s surname, county, winning ticket number or entry reference, prize won and draw date. We may also publish the winner’s first name, surname initial, general location, winner image, testimonial or prize handover content where the winner agrees.

We will inform entrants at or before the time of entry that winner information may be published or made available, and we will give winners a reasonable opportunity to object to publication or ask us to reduce the amount of information published.

We will not require winners to take part in unreasonable publicity.

If you object to your winner information being published or would like us to reduce the amount of information published, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider your request, but we may still need to publish or make available enough information to show that a valid award took place.

We may still be required to provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority, regulators, law enforcement, legal advisers or another competent authority where legally required or where reasonably necessary to demonstrate that a valid award took place.

19. Personal data

We will process your personal data for the purposes of administering competitions, processing entries, allocating tickets, contacting winners, verifying eligibility, fulfilling prizes, dealing with customer support, preventing fraud, managing responsible play controls and meeting our legal obligations.

We may also use your contact details to send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them or where we are otherwise permitted to do so by law. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

We may share relevant personal data with payment providers, delivery partners, prize suppliers, professional advisers, technical providers, regulators, advertising bodies or authorities where necessary for competition administration, prize fulfilment, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute handling.

We will only collect and use personal data that is reasonably necessary for these purposes, and we will retain competition records for as long as reasonably required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution purposes.

Please read our Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data, and how you can exercise your data protection rights.

20. Responsible play

LittleWinzClub is intended to be fun, affordable and enjoyable. Please only enter competitions if you can comfortably afford to do so.

Prize draws and competitions should not be treated as a way to make money, a solution to financial difficulty, an alternative to employment, a way to achieve financial security, or a guaranteed way to win prizes.

Most entrants will not win. There is no guarantee of winning.

We encourage entrants to set sensible limits and to avoid spending more than they can afford.

You can contact us at any time to request:

  • A monthly spending limit
  • A temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account closure
  • Removal from marketing communications
  • Support with responsible play controls

If you feel you are spending more than you can afford, or if entering competitions is no longer enjoyable, we encourage you to take a break and seek support if needed. Support may be available from organisations such as Citizens Advice, National Debtline, MoneyHelper, Samaritans, Mind, or other appropriate support services.

We may refuse entries, suspend accounts or take other appropriate action where we identify behaviour that may indicate harm, excessive spending, vulnerability, fraud, misuse or breach of these Terms.

Our competitions are for adults aged 18 or over only. Our marketing must not be targeted at anyone under 18 or presented in a way that is likely to appeal particularly to children.

21. Complaints and enquiries

If you have a question or complaint about a competition, your entry, ticket numbers, winner selection, free postal entry route, responsible play controls or prize fulfilment, please contact us through our website contact page or by using the contact details provided on the website.

Please include your full name, email address, competition name and order number where applicable so we can investigate your enquiry properly.

We will aim to acknowledge complaints within a reasonable time and investigate them fairly.

Where possible, we will aim to provide a final response within 28 days. If we need more time, we will let you know and explain the reason for the delay.

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, we may consider referral to an appropriate independent dispute resolution process where required or appropriate.

If you remain dissatisfied after we have completed our complaints process, you may seek independent legal advice or contact any relevant regulator, enforcement body or advertising body where appropriate.

Nothing in this section affects your right to seek independent legal advice, contact a relevant regulator or advertising body, or use any other legal remedy available to you.

22. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Subject to the above, LITTLEWINZCLUB LTD will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, disappointment, delay, cost or expense arising from entering a competition, failing to win, accepting a prize, using a prize, or any issue caused by a third-party supplier, courier, platform or service, except where caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.

We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control that affect the running of a competition, entry processing, draw timing, winner contact, prize availability or delivery.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies you may have under consumer protection law.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.

The version of the Terms in force at the time you enter a competition will apply to that entry, unless a change is required by law, regulation, a competent authority, or is necessary to correct an error or ensure the fair running of a competition.

We will not use changes to these Terms to unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered a competition.

Any material changes made during an active competition will be communicated clearly on the website and will apply only where lawful and fair to do so.

24. Severance

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining parts of these Terms will continue to apply.

25. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
